Tervetuloa seuraamaan seminaaria, jonka aiheena on kaksi teemaa: Louis Pasteur ja covid-pandemia. Louis Pasteurin syntymästä tulee tänä vuonna kuluneeksi 200 vuotta. Maineikas tiedemies teki suuren työn rokotteiden kehittämisessä, joiden merkitys on ollut oleellinen viimeaikaisen covid-pandemian torjunnassa.

We have the pleasure of inviting you to the conference organized to celebrate the bicentenary of Louis Pasteur’s birth entitled “From Pasteur to the pandemic. On the 200th birthyear of the French scientist”. The aim of the event is to honor and celebrate the life and work of Pasteur, look back on the COVID-19 pandemic and how we can prepare for current and future threats. The great French scientist revolutionized science with his discoveries that would save millions of lives through the developments of vaccines. The event’s lectures will focus on Pasteur’s life and work, on COVID-19 and other pandemics as well as on the threats and opportunities of the future.
